Two Legendary Creatures
By: Jack M
Once in the deep dark sea, there lived a legendary creature that didn't have a name. It was known to eat colossal squids. It was about twenty times the length of man. This monster ate any ship passing by. It lurked just below the surface and lunged at the vessels. Although the creature ate ships on the surface, it was actually the biggest creature in the Midnight Zone. It was bigger than the blue whale and it was even a crocodilian. It lived in the Midnight Zone’s caves. One day it got hungry and swam to the surface for some food. When it got there, there was indeed a ship and the creature was ready to eat it. However, when it saw the name of the ship, the creature did not strike, for the ship's name was the Charles W. Morgan. The Charles W. Morgan was the last wooden whale ship of the wooden whale ships of the world. Since the creature was just slightly above the surface it was spotted by a crew member. The creature's species was called Osophagis. When the Charles W. Morgan was deeper out at sea they saw Moby Dick, the great white sperm whale. The creature and Moby Dick became legendary, but if you grow up to be an oceanologist, you just might have a chance to find them. I hear that someone intends to.
My friend in the mirror

I have a little friend, she lives in the mirror. She does not
have a name. It always seems like she is playing a game. And if you listen
closely you might hear her soft whisper in your ear. She never interrupts me,
she is very polite. Sometimes I see her in the corner of my eye making funny
faces and waving goodbye.

I like basketball because it is fun. As a team, I like how we have won all the great games that our five player play. Using the different skills each and every day; passing, dribbling, and free throws is what you do with the cool uniform and matching sneakers too. I like basketball because it is fun
